1. Verify Rental Requirements

Before renting, ensure you meet the following qualifications:

✅ Private Pilot Certificate or Higher (or training with a Utah Aviate instructor)

✅ Current Medical Certificate (BasicMed or higher)

✅ Recent Flight Experience (per Utah Aviate’s rental policy)

✅ Checkout Flight with a Utah Aviate Instructor (for first-time renters)

2. Complete Rental Agreement & Documents

To streamline the rental process, you’ll need to complete the following:

📄 Utah Aviate Rental Agreement – Covers terms, policies, and responsibilities.

📄 Insurance Verification – Renters must provide proof of non-owner renter’s insurance or opt for Utah Aviate’s coverage.

📄 Copy of Pilot Certificate & Medical – For verification and compliance.

3. Checkout Flight (First-Time Renters)

If you are renting the Remos for the first time, a checkout flight with a Utah Aviate instructor is required. This flight covers:

🛫 Aircraft Systems & Operations – Review of avionics, engine management, and aircraft handling.

🛫 Flight Maneuvers & Emergency Procedures – Ensuring familiarity with the Remos's flight characteristics.

🛫 Landing Proficiency – Demonstrating safe takeoffs, landings, and go-around procedures.

Once successfully completed, you will be cleared for solo rentals.

4. Schedule Your Rental

Once approved, you can book the Remos using Flight Circle, our online scheduling platform.

📅 Advanced Reservations Recommended – Due to high demand, book flights ahead of time.

📅 Minimum Rental Time – May apply for extended rentals (inquire for details).

5. Pre-Flight & Departure

✔ Aircraft Pre-Flight Inspection – Complete a thorough pre-flight check before departure.

✔ Weight & Balance Check – Ensure the aircraft is within operating limits.

✔ Weather Briefing – Required before every flight.

For fuel purchases on cross-country flights, keep all receipts for reimbursement based on our fuel policy.

6. Post-Flight & Aircraft Return

🛬 Refuel Aircraft to Required Levels – Fuel must be returned to rental levels.

🛬 Post-Flight Inspection & Secure the Aircraft – Complete post-flight checklist and report any squawks.

🛬 Flight Time Logging & Payment – Record actual flight time in Flight Circle, and payments must be settled after the flight.

7. Additional Policies

• Weather Cancellations – If the weather prevents safe flight, rescheduling is allowed at no charge.

• Cancellation Policy – Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a fee.

• Multi-Day Rentals – Available upon request with special arrangements.
